Being Canadian, I find it a little strange, the US custom of holding Thanksgiving in late November. We’ve always celebrated Thanksgiving in early October. Moreover at this time of the year, I have something else to celebrate – my son’s birthday!
However there is a connection! Thanksgiving and the remaining holiday season is about gratitude, and it there’s something in my life that I am particularly grateful for, it is the birth of my son, Tonatiuh.
Tonatiuh arrived into this world a good 21 days before my 46th birthday- my first and only child. That I had him at such a late age was a miracle. Having been so many years free of family responsibilities, I wasn’t at all sure how I would take to motherhood. The minute he was born, I had no doubts.
Tonatiuh (“Tona” for short), was named after the Aztec God of the Sun. My husband Eduardo came up with the name. I couldn’t have done better.
Being a creative soul, routines have never been my strong point. All parenting books will tell you how important this is, and I struggled to provide some. Luckily he’s the kind of kid, who is really adaptable, and seems to not have been too much the worse for this lack of consistent structure.
Guilt, thy name is “mother”, is a phrase I’ve often said to myself. On top of that I have a Catholic and Jewish background so I’m getting if from all sides. You see I don’t mind so much being an imperfect human being for myself, but I’ve always wanted to be so much better for my child.
However I console myself that he’s always got a pot load of love and affection, combined with boundaries so that he respects others, and responsibilities helping with the family chores.
Like many other children, he seems to need precious little clothing to keep him warm on cold days. However, when I protest he has the perfect reply. But Mom, I’m the sun god!
With a sunny disposition, and an amazing ability get along with people in any age group, Tona has always been an easy child to parent. He loves to joke and laugh and play, and he’s also a very polite and caring child.
He’s got his father’s talents as a dancer, and has a very strong sense of rhythm, and loves music. His big passion, however, is animals. He loves watching wild life documentaries and playing with our dogs.
When I am counting my blessings at any time, Tonatiuh always comes to the top of my list. And for this beautiful child, I give a thousand thanks.
What would it be like if you didn’t have to fight all those different voices inside that get in the way of you manifesting your creative talents?
To help you get there, I am organizing a teleclass with Healing Codes Coach Dr. Lorna Minewiser, where I will interview her about how you can use the Healing Codes, to dramatically increase your creative flow and overall health, and happiness.
This may seem like a big claim to you. I too, am tired of all the false promises and hype that we see everyday on the internet, so I don’t say this lightly. However my experience of the Healing Codes, and that of thousands of others who’ve used this method, has been nothing short of transformational.
About six months ago I first began to use the healing codes of Dr. Alex Loyd on a regular basis, I have found to it to be one of the most powerful and simple to use methods to change negative programming and to stop self-sabotage.
I find that often a less than ten-minute session doing the healing codes, leads me into a profound state of well being and bubbling with creative ideas. Since I began using it, it has been helping me to overcome longstanding health issues, problems with clutter, travel anxiety, blocks to creative success, as well as relationship issues.
I am therefore really excited about my upcoming teleconference with Dr. Lorna Minewiser, a Healing Codes Coach and Trainer, as well as Energy Practitioner. Lorna has been a wonderful coach and guide for me in how to use the codes most effectively, and for help around specific issues.
Lorna has a PHD in psychology, and has served as a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 15 years. Lorna worked with Dr. Alex Loyd and Tom Costello to create the Heart Issues Test, which shows you where you are on each of the 12 healing code categories.
She has helped hundreds of clients achieve greater success in their work and personal lives, as well as resolve health issues. Lorna’s clients have consistently reported feeling a new sense of peace, joy and love through their use of the healing codes.
The telecall takes place on Thursday, November 11th, at 7:30pm Eastern /4:30pm Pacific.

“Take altitude pills if you are coaching with Katie. She really gets her clients flying!”
“After returning home from Europe about 2 years ago, I had the post-traveling blues, feeling as if I had ‘nothing’ in my life. In my initial session with Catharine, she helped unlock that part of myself that was able to remember and embrace my gifts and reconnect with an earlier vision I had for my life… Her passion and support for birthing a new part of my life journey has been fundamental in my ability to move forward, and I am most grateful for all the rich gifts and new friends that have come into my life through my work and play with her. Catharine has an incredible passion for her coaching practice and her deep desire to see other people reach their fullest potential is truly an inspiration.”
